I’ll pray for you

Sometimes when I say, “I’ll pray for you,” I wonder if people hear it the wrong way…

Like it’s pressure… like it’s judgment… like it’s me trying to push something onto them. But the truth is much softer than that.

When I say I’ll pray for you, it’s because I don’t always have the right words… I don’t always have the power to fix what you’re going through… I don’t always know how to carry your pain the way you deserve…

But I care.

I care enough to sit quietly and think of you… to hold your name gently in my heart… to whisper a hope for your healing when you can’t find it yourself.

It’s love… just in its quietest form.

It’s me saying,

“I see you hurting.”

“I wish I could take some of that weight away.”

“I’m standing with you… even in ways you can’t see.”

Prayer, for me, is not about being right… it’s about being present.

It’s about believing that even when life feels heavy, there is still something greater holding us together… something kind, something patient, something full of grace.

So when I say, “I’ll pray for you,” please know… I’m not trying to change you. I’m not trying to convince you.

I’m just loving you , in the only quiet way I know how.
